In a Roman prison, Paul, one of the apostles of Jesus Christ, lies in prison awaiting the time of his execution. At this situation, Mauricio, the high prefect of the prison that was once Saulo de Tarso, a murderer of Christians of very high esteem now become a Catholic of great faith, observes and constantly wonders the danger that this man could pose shattered for society. Meanwhile, on the other hand, Lucas, manages to enter inside the prison and manage to transcribe and communicate to the world clandestinely the different letters that Paul has written spreading the faith and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. However, both will face an inhuman persecution by the Emperor Nero.
