Plot
Martha (Diane Keaton) is a woman that lives in a nursing home. She and her friend sheryl (Jacki Weaver) decide to found a cheerleader team with the rest of their friends. At first it started as a hobby to have fun but it will become something more serious when they sign up for a competition. A young and expert cheerleader (Alisha Boe) will help them to be ready to win the competiton. This way they will show that you are never too old to do whatever you want.

Filmmakers mistake
When Martha is stuck behind a golf cart upon her arrival, the camera cuts to a shot of her in her car from the side - but in this shot she's moving much faster and the background is totally different. It looks like the filmmakers simply inserted a shot from her on the freeway by a mountainside from earlier in the film.
Script mistake
Sheryl walks up to Martha's house, saying she hoped her new neighbor "would be a man." But there was clearly a "Welcome Martha" sign in the front yard, so she should have known better sooner.
