Rescue Under Fire

Inspired by a true story happened to the Spanish Army. An American mine equipment, escorted by a convoy of Spanish Legion, inspects a road in northern Afghanistan when one of their vehicles off a mine. The blast left two seriously injured as a result. Captain Varela (Ariadna Gil) is the medical officer MEDEVAC (medical helicopter of the Spanish Army) who comes to rescue the injured. But landing the cedes ground and dumped leaving the crew and the legionnaires caught in a plain surrounded by mountains. With the night comes the enemy and now the mission of the Captain Varela and his colleagues, it is to stay alive until dawn... Filming has a large deployment of military means: Chinook helicopters, attack helicopters Tiger and Super Puma and military vehicles of various types (troop transport vehicles intended, armored...).
