Retribution

Liam Neeson plays Matt Turner, an American businessman living in the German capital. His life is turned upside down when, in the course of one day, he begins a race against time to secure the life of his family and his own.

After dropping his kids off at school, Matt receives an anonymous call from a mysterious voice warning him that his vehicle is filled with explosives. He is forced to solve the mystery, as to ensure the safety of his family and his own, Matt must follow the instructions of the stranger on the other end of the line and complete a series of tasks against the clock. This fast-paced adventure is directed by Nimród Antal ('The Whiskey Bandit', 'Control', 'Predators') with the producers of the films 'Non-Stop' and 'The Commuter'.

The film 'Retribution' is a remake of the 2015 Spanish film 'The Stranger', written by Alberto Marini and directed by Dani de la Torre, with a high-profile cast led by Spanish actors and actresses such as Luis Tosar, Javier Gutiérrez, Elvira Mínguez, Fernando Cayo and Goya Toledo. In addition to Neeson, the American film adaptation also stars Noma Dumezweni ('The Return of Mary Poppins'), Lilly Aspell ('Wonder Woman', 'Wonder Woman 1984') and Jack Champion ('Avatar: The Way of Water', 'Scream VI').
