Revenge of the Mekons

'The Revenge of the Mekons' is a documentary directed by Joe Angio about British rock band The Mokers. This band was created back in 1977 when all the band members met when they were students at Leeds University. 'The Revenge of the Mokers' tells the story of the band since its beginning to date, because after almost 40 years they're still playing music around the world. Their sound has evolved from punk rock to country music over the years. Joe Angio combines the band footage from the early years with the opinions of their own members and famous enthusiastic fans from the world of art such as actor and comedian Fred Armisen. This documentary also reflects the reasons why this band has lasted all these years.
