School Life

Samia (Zita Hanrot) is a young teacher who takes over the direction of studies at a school in the suburbs of Paris. It will be a great challenge, because as the days pass she will discover the discipline problems faced by the students and the social reality that weighs on the neighborhood. She?ll have to overcome many obstacles. Students are not motivated by anything they do, they have daily fights and being in class is the place they least want to be. That is where Samia will enter, with her passion for teaching and her desire to change this situation. At first, the adaptation of this young woman will be really difficult, but the incredible vitality and humour of both the students and their fellow teachers will gradually make her control and achieve her goal.

This french comedy is written and directed by Mehdi Idir and Grand Corps Malade. It is not the first time that Idir and Malade have agreed on a project, they already did it in 'Patients' that they also wrote and directed together.
