Plot
'Semana Santa' is the first fiction film directed by Alejandra Márquez Abella, one of Mexico's most promising women directors.
The film is a family drama that focuses on Dalí and Pepe, her eight years son. They decide to go on holidays to a beach site with Chavez, her boyfriend. However these holidays, far from approach them, start exposing them to things that put in danger the union of this particular trio as a family. It stars Tenoch Huerta, Anajosé Aldrete Echevarria and Esteban Avila among other actors that are part of the cast. 'Semana Santa' was first seen during the 2015 International Festival of Toronto.
