Shadow

In ancient China, the county of Peixan lives under the ruling of a savage king, in whose court take place all sorts of treasons, forcing the king's military commander, Jing Zhou, to use different strategies to survive. For that, Zhou uses a boy to create a "shadow", a double that allows him to fool the king, his court members and his enemies, something that will be useful when the king decides to attack the fortified city of Jing. Reinterpretation of the classic 'Three Kingdoms' directed by Zhang Yimou ('The The Great Wall') and starring Deng Chao ('Detective Dee: The Mystery of the Phantom Flame'), Sun Li ('Fearless'), Zheng Kai ('The Great Wall'), Wang Qianyuan ('Saving Mr. Wu') and Wang Jingchun ('The Flowers of War').
