Sing Sing

A small group of inmates from the Sing Sing correctional facility, one of the most recognized maximum-security prisons in the world, decides to carry out their own theatrical production as part of a drama arts workshop. Through theater, these men manage to transform their view of the world, discovering within it a reason to fight.

Divine G, a man convicted of a crime he did not commit, is serving his sentence in the chilling maximum-security prison of Sing Sing, a place where most inmates have lost all hope. However, amidst the monotony and unease of his confinement, Divine G finds an unexpected opportunity for redemption and purpose in a theater workshop, a space where other prisoners who also bear the weight of their sentences gather.

The theater becomes a catalyst for change for Divine G, allowing him to experience a profound inner transformation. Through this artistic expression, he discovers a new way to connect with his humanity and with others, even in an environment marked by dehumanization. With each step he takes within the workshop, he understands that art has the power to transform lives, to release hidden emotions, and to offer an escape from the harsh reality of prison.
