Allison Jones is a software specialist that check her fiance, Sam Rawson, for the house in which they live when she discovers that he has slept with his ex-wife. To not be alone, she looking for a roommate putting an ad in the newspaper. Who answers to the announcement is Hedra Carlson. At first it seems the perfect companion both floor and become inseparable friends, but gradually, Hedra begins to appear as an obsessive and unbalanced person with an unhealthy dependence on her roommate.
