Plot

Bennie Chan (Jackie Chan) is a detective from Hong Kong who has spent ten years of his life trying to capture Victor Wrong, the leader of a criminal Chinese network. When Samantha, the niece of the main character (Fan Bingbing), gets into trouble with the criminal, Bennie has to ask Connor Watts (Johnny Knoxville) for help, an American gambler. These men will begin a searching against the clock that will bring them from the mountains of Mongolia to the dunes of the Gobi desert.

This adventure comedy, which is set in Asia, means the return of the veteran Jackie Chan to the big screen. 'Skiptrace' took part in the Fantasia International Film Festival 2015 which takes place in Montreal (Canada).

Singer actor

The Chinese song that Johnny Knoxville sing that can be seen on the trailer is actually Jackie Chan's song 'Ming Ming Bai Bai Wo De Xin" (Please Understand My Heart). Back in Hong Kong, beside known as an actor Jackie Chan actually release several albums as a singer and he's actually a good singer as well.
