Sordo

'Sordo' is set in 1944 and introduces us to the story of Anselm. During the Civil War Anselmo will operate as a maqui, the resistance of anti-Franco guerrilla movements. During one of his sabotage action missions he becomes deaf, but that does not take him away from the battlefield. Our protagonist will start a fight for their survival in the mountains while the national army surrounds the mountainous area in which it is located. In the desperate situation Anselmo will have to face, not only the fears that concern the war situation itself, but also the fears that develop just newly acquired deafness. Silence will be your companion along this entire path, but also become the greatest enemy.

The film is from the year 2018 and was a project directed by Alfonso Cortés-Cavanillas. In addition, in the main cast we can find names like Asier Etxeandia, Aitor Luna and Hugo Silva.
