Spy Kids: Armageddon

When the children of the world's greatest secret agents unknowingly help a powerful game developer unleash a computer virus that puts him in control of all technology, they must become spies in order to save their parents and the world.

To make this reboot, Netflix has relied on the director in charge of the original film, Robert Rodriguez, to seek the highest possible fidelity and preserve the spirit of the original saga and, at the same time, manage to adapt the film to the new generation of viewers.

The mini-spy brothers must save their parents through their spy skills after a failed mission. This new family will embark on a new adventure, full of black overalls, sunglasses, advanced technological devices, and many characteristic elements of the original 'Spy Kids' movie from 2001. Netflix defines the plot of the film like this: "they're spies and they're kids.

Their parents are spies too. They have to do spy stuff as a family. And that formula worked pretty well, as 'Spy Kids' was one of those family movies that was not only fun for the kids, but also for their parents.

The spy family movie will be directed by Robert Rodríguez for Netflix and written by him along with Racer Rodriguez. His cast members include Gina Rodríguez, Zachary Levi, Connor Esterson, Billy Magnussen, Robert Rodríguez, D.J. Controna and Fabiola Andújar, among others.

The music is made by John Debney and is produced by different companies including Double R Productions, Netflix, Quick Draw Productions and Skydance Productions.
