Plot
The samurai leaders of the Taira Clan return victorious from fighting for their Emperor. Instead of recognition and reward, they are cheated and dishonored by the high courtiers who do not want to see the samurai warriors empowered. The samurai are forced to choose sides and re-examine their loyalties, ethics, codes of honor and their positions in a changing world.
