Two high school friends meet in a motel room in Lansing, Michigan, after a long time without seeing each other. They remember the old times and an uncomfortable memory is brought up by one of them, that remembrance is linked to his ex-girlfriend that also will show up in the room to argue with the two friends about the veracity of that story. Everything happens in the same space and Ethan Hawke, Robert Sean Leonard and Uma Thurman are the only three actors who appear on screen in this experimental movie.
