The Descent

'The Descent' is a 2005 British horror film written and directed by Neil Marshall. It tells the story of six friends who reunite in a remote mountain area and set off on an scientific expedition. Juno, is in charge of the group and he is a very tough and dangerous individual. The others in the group consist of half brothers and sisters Rebecca and Sam, Holly and Beth, and finally an English teacher who reluctantly takes care of Sarah. He is taking care of her as she is suffering from mental collapse caused by the death of her husband and child a year earlier. The group get trapped in a cave when a rock falls and blocks the exit. Whilst they try to find another way out in the winding tunnels of the save, they come across a race of hungry predators.
