The Eternal Daughter

'The Eternal Daughter' is the new drama and mystery film directed and signed by Johanna Hogg ('The Souvenir', 'Unrelated'), starring Tilda Swinton.

Julie Hart is a filmmaker who goes with her elderly mother to her childhood home to write the script for her next film that will tell the lives of both. When they arrive at the mansion, now converted into a hotel, Julie is invaded by memories, which are not exactly happy. After a horrible night in which Julie's sleep is interrupted by strange noises and the feeling of a presence, she goes to the receptionist for help obtaining as a response the absence of complaints from other guests. Unlike the hotel worker, Bill confesses to Julie that he also has a strange feeling when he makes the rounds at night and is assaulted by unhappy memories. Julie will have to face the almost forgotten secrets of her past.

Tilda Swinton ('We Need to Talk About Kevin', 'Michael Clayton') headlines a small cast of her alongside the newcomer August Joshi, Carly-Sophia Davies ('The Midsomer Murders'), Joseph Mydell (Miss Marple: Mystery in the Caribbean') and Crispin Buxton (The last king of Scotland).
