The Family

Carlo, a 80 years-old man, made a historical review of his entire existence remembering the all the events that shape his life. Since his birth in a humble family in the early twentieth century, until the Italian fascism as he lived in his youth. Moreover he reminds how he became a married man with children. At this very moment, after living 80 years, he remembers an old girlfriend and he realizes the pass of the time, and sooner or later he will perish. A film directed by Ettore Scola, starring by the italian actors Fanny Ardant, Vittorio Gasman and Philippe Noiret. A Franco-Italian tragicomedy that deepens over time.
