The First Film

This documentary seeks the truth about the figure of Louis Le Prince, for many people the true father of cinema. In October 1888, Le Prince recorded the first motion picture in Leeds, UK. These recordings were patented both in America and in the UK. After perfecting his shot machine, he decided to travel to America to show it to the world. September 16, 1890, Le Prince boarded a train in Paris and not heard anything from him never. Years later, Thomas Edison and the Lumiere brothers claimed authorship of cinema, when in truth was Le Prince.
