The Lady in the Van

Based on the namesake novel of Alan Bennet about their experiences this years. Tells the true story of Mrs. Shepherd (Maggie Smith), an eccentric woman who lived in the van parked for 15 years opposite the house of Alan Bennet (Alex Jennings), an english playwright in the 1970's. Under these circumstances, they will build an extraordinary and enigmatic relationship.

The european premier of the film directed by Nicholas Hytner took place recently at the London Film Festival while its world premiere took place in the last edition of the Toronto Film Festival. Starring by one of the most famous british actress with 80 years and with two Oscar's (best actress and best support actress) Maggie Smith. 'The Lady in the Van' come to the british and irish cinemas on 13 November 2015. Meanwhile, in the US it will come on December 4. For Spain we have to wait to February 16, 2016.
