Plot
The story is around 1950. A man named Charles (Van Johnson) meets a beautiful woman . Charles asks her name and she tells him she is called Helen (Elizabeth Taylor) . Both are in Paris but they have very different lives. He is a writer , while she lives with her father and sister and she doesn't work. After a while, the love arise between them and they married and having a daughter. The economic crisis will fall on them but a stroke of luck will change their lives , the question is : For better or worse ? That only know them.
