The Little House

Yôji Yamada's new film, 'The Little House', is centered in a boy named Takeshi. When his aunt dies, he discovers a notebook where the woman was writing her memoirs. He discovers that way that she worked as a maid for the Hirai family, who lived in a little house in Tokyo. The Hirais are Masaki, the father and director of a toy factory, his wife, Tokiko, and the maid, Taki. Tokiko has an affair with Shoji, and the maid is the one who protects her. Satoshi Tsumabuki plays Takeshi in this Japanese drama.
