Plot

The Spanish film directed by Ladislao Vadja, 'The Miracle of Marcelino' tells the story of Marcelino. He is an orphan that was abandoned in a monastery and has been adopted by the monks living there. He is raised by them and he lives his childhood in the monastery and in the surrounding area. One day while he is eating his very small lunch in his room, a room full of old things, he decides to offer some of his bread to the wooden figure of Christ. The wooden figure comes to life and takes the bread and eats it. It is the apparition of God in the room and because of his kindness and good heart, God grants Marcelino a wish. The child wishes to see his mother since he has never met her.
