The Oath

Finnur (Baltasar Kormákur) is a successful heart surgeon who has two children. His familiar life starts to shake when his daughter Anna (Hera Hilmar) begins a relationship with a manipulative drug dealer. His control over Anna and all her family is getting stronger, and Finnur decides to take extreme measures since he cannot find any other solution. The father is willing to do anything in order to get his daughter out of that dangerous world, unaware that the risk can be found in the most unexpected places. The movie is directed by its own protagonist, Baltasar Kormákur, director of films such as '2 Guns', 'Contraband' and 'Everest', and who comes back to his homeland to create this thriller.
