Plot
Life in the cold plains of Montana is not quiet , it's the contrary , is clouded by alcohol and multiple fights that occur. Roy is a young man who is living an unsustainable situation since the suicide of his father. A football coach , Gideo Ferguson, realizes the potential of Roy and decides to recruit him for his team of Montana. From this union was born a friendship, but Roy begin to doubt of Ferguson whether only want that. The title 'The Slaughter Rule' comes from the existence of a rule that allows to finish the game when a team is losing by more than 45 points.
