The Wrong Paris

'The Wrong Paris' is a romantic comedy directed by Janeen Damian with a script by Nicole Henrich. It is a production by MPCA for the streaming platform Netflix, which will release the film worldwide on September 12, 2025. The film is starring Miranda Cosgrove and Pierson Fodé.

Dawn is a young American woman who has just fulfilled her dream: to secure a spot at an art school in Paris, France. However, she will have to decline it as she doesn't even have money to buy plane tickets. Her friends suggest that she signs up for a program to win the love of a suitor, which will be filming its next season in the French capital: this way, when she gets eliminated from the show, she will already be in French territory without having to pay anything.

Dawn follows their advice and ends up as a contestant on "The Honeypot," which is playing a prank on all the contestants. In reality, the show is going to be filmed in Paris, Texas, where they all land to their surprise. Upset, Dawn devises a strategy to get eliminated quickly so she can leave the show. Until she starts to feel something for Trey McAllen, the suitor...

The cast of the film is completed by Madison Pettis, Torrance Coombs, Madeleine Arthur, and Frances Fisher, among others. 'The Wrong Paris' was not filmed in either the French or Texan Paris, but in Vancouver, Canada, where many other films have been shot.
