They Will Kill You

'They Will Kill You' is a U.S. slasher horror film directed by Kirill Sokolov, with a screenplay by Sokolov himself along with Alex Litvak. It is the first production of Noctura, a company created by Any and Barbara Muschietti. The film debuts at the SXSW Festival in mid-March 2026 and is released a few days later in the United States on March 27.

The film takes us to a gloomy and dark Manhattan, where a woman responds to a job offer as a cleaner in a mysterious skyscraper in the city. What she doesn't know is that over the years, that building has experienced a series of mysterious disappearances, seemingly stemming from a demonic cult that uses them for their sacrifices. Now, everything indicates that she could be next. Will she manage to escape?

'They Will Kill You' is starring actress Zazie Beetz in the lead role, alongside Patricia Arquette, Tom Felton, Heather Graham, Paterson Joseph, and Myha'la, among others. The film, although set in New York, was filmed entirely in Cape Town, South Africa. As a true slasher, it promises plenty of blood, outrageous deaths, and dark humor to spare in this new twist on the genre.
