Trinta Lumes

'Trinta Lumes' (which can be translated as 'Thirty Souls') is the cinematographic debut of the filmmaker Diana Toucedo. The film was released in the Berlinale on February 18th, 2018.

It is a story which walks between the documentary and the fiction. A story that locate us in a little village of Galicia (North of Spain), where the limits between the livings and the deads are faded. The film follows the residents through their daily routine, like the act of plucking a chicken, the gather of chestnuts or the wild boar's haunt. It is a film where it looks like the deads are between the livings and the livings disappear from time to time. All of it told from the perspective of our main character: Alba.
