Un año y un día

Hugo (Luis Fernández) is devastated and heartbroken after his girlfriend and the love of his life (Nadia de Santiago) decides to leave him. He is determined to win her back, so he decides to learn to play the piano to reconquer her. However, fate has other plans for him. His neighbor, Nerea (Nicole Wallace), will help him achieve his goal by teaching him to play the instrument, and fate is very capricious.

This is the debut film of Álex San Martín, who has written and directed this romantic drama about "second chances."

The main actors are joined by Carlos Iglesias, Cossete Silgueiro, Fanny Gautier, Victor Elías, Antonio Gil, and Paula Iglesias. Music plays a very important role in this film and features a soundtrack composed by Victor Elías himself, accompanied by Jaime Vaquero. Additionally, the songs are performed by Nicole Wallace, who is also a singer.
