Plot
Samantha Abbott (Cobie Smulders, 'How I Met Your Mother') is a high school teacher who has a quiet life with her husband John (Anders Holm, 'The Intern'). Everything changes for the lead character when she discovers unexpectly that she is pregnant. Samantha will share the pregnancy experience with Jasmine (Gail Bean), one of her favorite students. Both will have a great friendship which will be marked by the uncertainty of first-time mother and the future of their lives.
Directed by Kris Swanberg, 'Unexpected' is a tragicomedy which was released at the Sundance Festival in 2015. The cast is completed by Elizabeth McGovern, Michele Sweeney Abrams, Robyn Coffin, Carin Silkaitis, DuShon Monique Brown and Tim Mason.
