Valley of Shadows

In a small Norwegian village between the sea and the mountains, Aslak, a 6-year-old boy, lives with his mother. Astrid, the mother of Aslak, fight to face a tragic event that Aslak did not quite understand. One night with a full moon, a friend shows Aslak a very macabre scene: three sheep being devoured in the middle of the forest. Aslak will not be able to remove the scene from his head, so he decides to go into the forest behind his house in search of answers. What will happen during this trip? Is it the pure imagination of a 6-year-old child or is it pure reality? 'Valley of Shadows' is a film directed by Jonas Matzow Gulbrandsen set in Scandinavian traditions and myths through the narration of a Gothic fable.
