Vedhalam

'Vedhalam' in the official title of the Indian action film directed by Sivakumar Jayakumar, known as Siva, and starring Ajith Kumar and Shruti Haasan. Vedhalam can be translated as ghost or poltergeist referring to a person whom everyone is afraid of. Ajith Kumar plays a taxi drive who lives with his sister in Kolkata and whose quiet life will get in trouble after a group of villains appear in the city and find out that the man who they called Vedhalam is still alive and is indeed Ajith Kumar's character. Vedhalam was a criminal chief that ruled in Chennai and had their people under his control- He then decided to leave behind that kind of life and find a better and peaceful life in a new home far away from Chennai, going undercover.
