Warfare

'Warfare' is based on a true story and chronicles the experiences of former U.S. Navy Seal Ray Mendoza during the Iraq War, which took place between 2003 and 2011.

The film depicts the events of the violent war and sheds light on the operations carried out by soldiers in a violent and harsh environment where many civilians lived.

Ray Mendoza is the director and writer of the same along with Alex Garland, screenwriter of 'Civil War' (2024) and 'Ex Machina' (2015), which received two Oscar nominations in 2016. The role of Ray is played by D'Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai known for Reservation Dogs (2021), although the film also features renowned actors such as Will Poulter, actor in the film saga 'The Maze Runner', or Noah Centineo, actor in 'Black Adam' (2022).
