Wicked: For Good

'Wicked: Part II' is the final chapter of a previously told story. The witches of Oz are the protagonists of this tale, whose first installment, 'Wicked', took the world by storm. Both are based on a Broadway musical and tell the friendship between Elphaba and Glinda, who grew apart after their time at Shiz University. Elphaba, always looked upon with suspicion due to her green skin, is expelled from the kingdom, while Glinda, on the other hand, will become a great star in the vicinity of Oz. They will reunite in this second installment, where they must treat each other with honesty and compassion, which will lead to either their reconciliation or their separation forever. 

'Wicked: For Good' is directed by Jon M. Chu, who also directed the first one. The screenplay is written by Winnie Holzman, Dana Fox, and Gregory Maguire. The main stars of this story are Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba and Ariana Grande as Glinda. Other actors joining them include Jeff Goldblum, Jonathan Bailey, Michelle Yeoh, Ethan Slater, and Marissa Bode. 

In this second part, the songs from the original musical are revisited and new ones are added, intended for both Elphaba and Glinda. Its worldwide premiere is on November 21, 2025.
