Plot
Kyoshi Kurosawa directs and it's one of the writers of 'Wife of a Spy', a drama starring Yû Aoi and Issey Takahashi. The film takes place in Japan in 1940, World War II is about to being. Yusaku Fukuhara and his nephew go to Manchuria, where they are witnesses of a terrible thing, which they aren't going to hide. Satoko, the merchant's wife, finds out what her husband is really up to and decides to protect him. 'Wife of a Spy' won the Silver Lion for best directing at Venice Film Festival.
