Three women from different generations and personalities come across by random for twenty four hours in a semidesert town because of the heat of the summer. Patricia (Penélope Cruz) is a teenager in her 17 roaming Spain in search for a man that she barely knows. Sol (Ana Álvarez) is a 27 years old door-to-door cosmetics sales-woman. And Virginia (Beatriz Carvajal) is a mature woman that after twenty years of marriage decides to leave it all behind and begin a brand new life. These three women will share a really special time together.
