Plot

From the producers of 'Spotlight' and '12 Years a Slave comes 'Worth', a film based on true events. After the attacks that took place in New York against the Twin Towers and the Pentagon, the United States Congress decides to hire attorney Kenneth Feinberg (played by Michael Ketaon) as the highest representative of the September 11th Victims Compensation Fund. This program is created with the aim of offering monetary compensation to those people who lost theirclosest relatives in the terrible incident that took place that September 11th. Feinberg will have to face the moral question that appears, leading the fact of valuing the lost life of a person. He will also have to face the different lawyers who want to sue him for this compensation fund and different groups of the airlines that will pressure him to finally reach an agreement. He will also tackle the difficult task of negotiating with those people who have lost their loved ones and their relatives in those attacks. But his meeting with Charles Wolf (character played by Stanley Tucci), a community organizer who lost his wife, will make Feinberg aware of the implications of the tragedy and all the pain and loss that it has entailed.

The film is directed by Sara Colangelo.
