Zeroville

Zeroville' is the story of Vikar, a student, who is obsessed with cinema. One day he abandons his degree in theology in order to travel to Los Angeles. It's summer from 1969, when Charles Manson's "family" is murdering people from all around Hollywood. This young guy will travel at the same time to Hollywood, following his dream of becoming a filmmaker and attempting to fit in in a world of sex, drugs and music that he doesn't understand.

'Zeroville' shows a dark portrait of the Hollywood from the 70s with humor. The movie is directed and starred by James Franco ('The disaster artist', 127 hours'). The script is written by Paul Felten y Ian Olds, and it is based on Steve Erockson's novel.

The cast who accompanied Franco in the film have Megan Fox ('Transformers', 'Jonah Hex'), Seth Rogen ('Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising', 'Pineapple Express'), Joey King ('The Conjuring', 'Life in Pieces'), Jacki Weaver ('Silver Linings Playbook', 'Animal Kingdom'), Danny McBride ('Up in the Air', 'Pineapple Express'), Dave Franco ('Now You See Me', 'Nerve') and Craig Robinson ('Hot Tub Time Machine', 'I am Dolemite').

The movie also have cameo of other movies star such as Will Ferrell ('Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy', 'The Lego Movie'), or Gus Van Sant ('Good Will Hunting').
