There's really not long left until 'Avengers: Infinity War', the much-anticipated, upcoming MCU film hits UK cinemas. We managed to nab an interview with none other than Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) himself in order to find out what's in store for us.

The next instalment to the Marvel Cinematic Universe will see the biggest on-screen reunion of superheroes throw down against destroyer of worlds, Thanos. Despite all of that however, many fans are equally excited to see how Iron Man and Doctor Strange will fare with having to share the screen. Both characters, aside from being portrayed by actors who have each portrayed Sherlock Holmes at one point in their careers, are quite similar in that they're pretty narcissistic.

Cumberbatch let us know he can't wait to see the chemistry between his character and that of Robert Downey Jr and let on to his admiration for the latter, describing him as "so gentlemanly and generous and a great example of a leading man".

Of course, we couldn't let the interview pass without bringing up 'Sherlock': it only launched Cumberbatch and co-star, Martin Freeman, into stardom! News recently broke of Freeman's admission that due to fans' expectations, the show's "not fun anymore". We asked Cumberbatch whether he agreed, and the actor revealed, "I know what he means about the possessive nature of it" but continued that he wouldn't blame the fans.

The fourth season of 'Sherlock' aired in 2017 and we still don't know whether any new seasons are on the horizon, a likelihood which is further diminished when you take into account the actors' and showrunners' tight schedules. The latter are currently working on 'Dracula'. For now, we'll have to be content with seeing Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange in 'Infinity War' which hits UK cinemas on 26th April.
