It's only been a few days since director Christopher Nolan, who had, up until now, been the rumoured favourite to direct the next James Bond film, revealed that, it wasn't the case at all. Following that admission, Danny Boyle has been dubbed as the next director rumoured to be working on the film.

 Director, Danny Boyle

The director, who won an Oscar for 'Slumdog Millionaire', is the supposed favourite for MGM. For the moment, all we know about the upcoming film is that Daniel Craig will return as 007, despite many (including the actor himself) having doubts about his future in the franchise.

The 'Trainspotting' director is clearly a sensible choice, not only because he's British (a prerequisite when it comes to Bond films), but because of his decent track record when it comes to making action and spy films, ('Trance', anyone?). While there's been no official announcement as of yet, we think the Oscar winner has it in him to make a fine Bond film.

What about you? Who would you entrust with 'Bond 25'?
