At a glance, you'd think the difficulty with 'Solo: A Star Wars Story' would be finding that galactic aesthetic that links it to George Lucas' original saga, but that's not been the case at all. In fact, just a glance at the new trailer suggests we might be on the cusp of a 'Star Wars' film that least resembles it. Alden Ehrenreich, Emilia Clarke, Woody Harrelson, Donald Glover, Thandie Newton and Paul Bettany all feature in the new clip that looks more 'Oceans' Eleven' than any of its sequels could.

If the promotional materials are anything to go by, 'Solo' aims to be as standalone as possible, although it's hoped that alongside 'Rogue One', the film will be able to alleviate any worries fans have for the 'Star Wars' franchise as a whole. There's a lot of action in the new trailer, which sees Ehrenreich and Chewbacca take centre stage, and neither can quell their thirst for adventure, even if it means teaming up with a morally corrupt gang, it would seem.

 Chewie & Han Solo

Chewie steals the spotlight

Chewbacca, the lone representative of his species throughout the 'Star Wars' saga, has always been cherished by fans, but he's captured our attention again in the new trailer; In one comical scene, the wookiee reveals he's 190 years old.

In another instance, Chewbacca is seen sharing the screen in an intimate scene with another wookiee. It's a real 'blink and you'll miss it' frame but enough for fans to speculate about the possibility of a new character. Many believe it could be Malla, Chewie's wife first seen a 'Star Wars' christmas special, but the reality is, we don't know for sure. We'll have to wait until 24th May to find out.
