The photo is a striking one, we won't lie. In comparison to her bundled up co-stars, it's not hard to miss Jennifer Lawrence's plunging neckline and protruding leg in the photograph taken on a London terrace. The significant difference in clothing amongst the stars has not sat well with many, who took to the web to vent. Robin Williams' daughter, Zelda, has been one of the individuals involved in the debate over what is currently expected of an actress promoting her work, and she had the following to say: I know a "sheer number of men...who come to press junkets freshly rolled out of bed when their female counterparts have been up since 4am going thru hair & makeup. The expectations women are expected to fill physically in order to be considered 'hardworking' are ten fold".

 Lawrence's dress

For her part, Lawrence took to her Facebook page to express how "this is... utterly ridiculous" before confirming that it was her choice to wear the dress, not that of anyone else.

Other reactions

Francis Lawrence, Matthias Schoenaerts, Joel Edgerton and Jeremy Irons joined Lawrence in the promotional photograph. For most fans, Lawrence's lack of clothing simply emphasised the lack of gender equality often seen in such situations. Take a look at what Twitter is saying below:
