Prepare for tears. For many of us Robin Williams held a special place in our lives, making us laugh with lighthearted flicks such as 'Alladin' or 'Hook', and even though these outtakes give us a look at Williams at his best, it can't be helped that they're watched through with a tiny ache of sadness in our hearts.

'Mrs. Doubtfire'

Robin Williams was known for his ability to adapt to any situation. From his work as a comedic actor in films such as 'Good Morning, Vietnam' to his work as a stand up comedian and even to more serious work, such as 'Good Will Hunting', Williams has show an incredible ability to acclimate to whatever role he was currently playing.

An improv genius (genie?)

However, Robin Williams truly shines when it comes to improvisation, and the deleted scenes from 'Mrs Doubtfire' are, undoubtedly, the perfect opportunity to see Williams at work.

A film in which a male voice actor dresses up as an elderly Scottish lady to try to reintegrate in his estranged family. How much more Robin Williams can you get? There is no doubt that 'Mrs Doubtfire' was assuredly a triumph, earning $400 million and was the second highest grossing film of 1993, falling just short of 'Jurassic Park'. And, in reality, the majority of that success was due to Robin Williams. And maybe Pierce Brosnan.

Just by watching the video do we see how many takes each shot took, and how much Williams improvised for each single take and how much it meant to the man. From what is able to be seen, in these outtakes, Williams seemed to be enjoying himself and he conveyed his passion for performing with ease.
