Saga Terminator

Terminator

A cyborg (Arnold Schwarzenegger) travels back in time from 2029 to 1984 with a mission to assassinate the waitress Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton) whose son, who is not yet born, will be responsible for leading a war against machines. So in 1984 started the saga of 'Terminator', with this film directed by James Cameron ('Titanic', 'Avatar') which raised more than 70 million worldwide.

'Terminator 2: Judgment Day' came seven years later, this time with the mission of protecting the son of Sarah, John Connor (Edward Furlong), which is being threatened by a more advanced cyborg. Box office was a huge success seizing 500 million, much more than the first installment. Because of that astonishing figure, 'Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines' debut in 2003 with Jonathan Mostow as the director. The film grossed slightly less than its predecessor something that did not stopped the studio, Warner Bros, who was not willing to give away his saga.

'Terminator Salvation' and 'Terminator Genesis' directed by McG and Alan Taylor, respectively, close this series which also featured stars like Claire Danes, Christian Bale, Helena Bonham Carter, Jason Clarke and Emilia Clarke.
