Sinopsis

'Big Mistakes' is an American television series of the black comedy genre, created by Dan Levy and Rachel Sennott. Dan Levy is also the main showrunner, writer of several episodes, and star, as part of his deal with Netflix to develop various fictions.

The story takes us to a typical small American town and follows a middle-class family that owns the local hardware store. The matriarch is Linda, played by Laurie Metcalf, and her children are Nicky, played by Dan Levy, a gay pastor from the town's congregation; Morgan (Taylor Ortega), a somewhat unbalanced high school teacher; and Natalie, the youngest sister and the apparent only sensible voice in the family.

Everything kicks off when, during a visit to a convenience store, Morgan steals a small necklace that she believes is of little value. A few hours later, they are visited by the store owner, demanding the jewelry, which seems to have a higher value than they expected. In this way, the two siblings inadvertently get involved with the local Russian mafia. From there, they start receiving increasingly dangerous missions that they must keep hidden from the rest of their family. Meanwhile, Linda, the matriarch, begins a campaign to run for mayor of the town.

'Big Mistakes' received mixed reviews after its premiere. The cast is completed by Jack Innanen, Boran Kuzum, and Elizabeth Perkins, among others.
