CSI: NY

In the great city of New York, crimes are a common occurrence. A group of forensic detectives led by Mack Taylor tries to solve the numerous cases that happen day after day on the streets of the Big Apple. 

Danny Messer, Alden Burn, and Stella Bonasera are the detectives that make up the 'CSI: New York' ('CSI: NY') with the help of Dr. Sheldon Hawkes. Each episode focuses on a case of murder or violence that is resolved by the end of it.

The series was produced by Jerry Bruckheimer Television in collaboration with CBS Television Studios and premiered in 2004, concluding in 2013 after nine seasons and 197 episodes. 'CSI: New York' stood out for transferring the criminal investigation format of the 'CSI' franchise to the city of New York, showcasing its urban landscape, the diversity of its population, and the specific challenges posed by a metropolis. 

The series combined scientific investigation with human drama, establishing the popularity of the franchise and attracting a wide international audience.

The main cast was led by Gary Sinise as Mac Taylor, Melina Kanakaredes as Stella Bonasera, Carmine Giovinazzo as Danny Messer, Hill Harper as Sheldon Hawkes, and Anna Belknap as Lindsay Monroe.
