Glee

'Glee' is a youth musical TV series that combines comedy and drama created by Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan and produced by 20th Century Fox Television along with Ryan Murphy Television, for the FOX network.

The story takes place at William McKinley High School in Lima, Ohio. Professor Will Schuester brings back the New Directions choir club of which he was a part in his youth. To do this, he gathers a group of marginalized students who see music as an escape from the problems in their lives. They join the choir after the audition, where they finally find their place in the school. 

Rachel Berry, Kurt Hummel, Artie Abrams, Tina Cohen-Chang, Mike Chang, and Mercedes Jones are part of the choir, to which popular kids from the school such as cheerleaders Quinn Fabray, Santana Lopez, and Brittany Pierce, as well as football players, quarterback Finn Hudson and Noah Puckerman, will later join.

Music is the central axis of the series, with performances of well-known pop culture hits. This is complemented by themes filled with romance, friendship, and personal growth. It also openly addresses issues such as discrimination, bullying, sexual identity, and acceptance.

It had a huge cultural impact among the adolescent and youth audience, revitalizing the musical genre on television and leading digital sales charts with its songs.
