‘Family Doctor’ is a Spanish dramedy produced by Globomedia for the Telecinco network, created by Daniel Écija and Emilio Aragón, who was also the main protagonist of the show. The series aired from 1995 to 1999, and remained on the air for five seasons and over a hundred episodes, with historic audiences that made it one of the biggest television phenomena of the nineties in Spain.

It follows the life of Nacho Martín (Emilio Aragón), a doctor who has become a widower and must raise his three children (Chechu, María, and Anita) while trying to rebuild his personal and family life. Around him is a domestic nucleus very recognizable to the Spanish audience, where coexistence, everyday humor, and emotional conflicts are the central axis of the story.
