Pretty Little Liars

'Pretty Little Liars' is an American fictional drama and mystery series. It premiered in 2010 and has a total of seven seasons.

It is based on the young adult book series written by Sara Shepard where suspense and romance prevail.

In the fictional town of Rosewood in Pennsylvania, live Aria Montgomery (Lucy Hale), Spencer Hastings (Troian Bellisario), Emily Fields (Shay Mitchell), and Hanna Marin (Ashley Benson).

A group of four friends who, after the death of the fifth member of the group and its leader, Alison DiLaurentis (Shasha Pieterse), begin to receive messages from an anonymous person known as "A". 

The messages arrive a year after Alison's death and "A" threatens the girls with revealing all their secrets, including those that only the deceased knew. 

The lives of the liars will be threatened with the arrival of this character who will not allow them to do anything without him or her knowing beforehand. 

The four friends find themselves at a crossroads as they cannot act against their greatest enemy. Hanna, Spencer, Aria, and Emily will also uncover the mysteries surrounding Alison's death.

Throughout the episodes, what would have been a peaceful school life for the group of friends twists into a story of dark secrets, hidden lies, and deceptions surrounding Alison's disappearance.
