William Devane and Rob Lowe, who play father and son, have both played President John F. Kennedy in made for TV movies 39 years apart, Devane in The Missiles of October (1974), and Lowe in Matar a Kennedy (2013).

Rob Lowe and Natalie Morales both appeared on Parks and Recreation, although they did not have any scenes together.
